OPTIFaaS: Spokes 8 and 9, Flagship project of CN MOST, kick off 1st July 2024, project with LUTECH (Coordinator), POLIBA, UNINA, UNIFI |

The OPTIFaaS project aims at setting up an infrastructure for providing mobility and transport services to be offered at small and medium cities and mobility operators via a as a service approach to reduce costs, and to offer researchers a place in which they can promote and market their solutions via as a service approach, without losing their IPR. The solution is grounded on Snap4City open source and other components plus algorithms and tools of partners from industry and research area. For services as: monitoring, optimizing demand and offer of mobility, early warning, what-if analysis, etc. The solutions would be accessible via dashboards, business intelligence tools for researchers and developers to produce new solutions/tools. The project is of interest for Spokes 8 and 9, partners: LUTECH, POLIBA, UNINA and UNIFI with DISIT/Snap4City. The business plan highlights the aspects of distribution of mobility services in “as a service” modality, and the capability of sustainability.
Il progetto OPTIFaaS mira a creare un'infrastruttura per fornire servizi di mobilità e trasporto da offrire a piccole e medie città e operatori della mobilità tramite un approccio as a service per ridurre i costi e offrire ai ricercatori un luogo in cui promuovere e commercializzare le proprie soluzioni tramite un approccio as a service, senza perdere i propri diritti di proprietà intellettuale. La soluzione si basa su Snap4City open source e altri componenti, oltre ad algoritmi e strumenti di partner provenienti dall'industria e dall'area di ricerca. Per servizi quali: monitoraggio, ottimizzazione della domanda e dell'offerta di mobilità, allerta precoce, analisi what-if, ecc. Le soluzioni sarebbero accessibili tramite dashboard, strumenti di business intelligence per ricercatori e sviluppatori per produrre nuove soluzioni/strumenti. Il progetto è di interesse per Spokes 8 e 9, partner: LUTECH, POLIBA, UNINA e UNIFI con DISIT/Snap4City. Il piano aziendale evidenzia gli aspetti della distribuzione dei servizi di mobilità in modalità "as a service" e la capacità di sostenibilità.
